Privacy Policy
BudgetShot is a personal finance app for tracking accounts, transactions, budgets, reminders, backups, exchange rates, commodities, and stock portfolio information.
Information you add to the app
The app stores the financial records you choose to create, such as account names, balances, transactions, categories, budgets, reminders, stock symbols, commodity entries, settings, and backup files. This data is used to provide the app features.
Where your data is stored
BudgetShot can store data locally on your device. If you choose iCloud sync, your app data is stored in your private iCloud database through Apple CloudKit and can sync between devices signed in with your Apple ID. The developer does not operate a separate account system for BudgetShot and does not receive your personal finance records from iCloud.
Market data requests
To show exchange rates, commodity prices, and stock quote information, the app may request market data from third-party providers such as Yahoo Finance, Frankfurter, and Canlidoviz. These requests can include currency codes, ticker symbols, and date ranges needed for the quote or rate. They are not intended to include your account balances, transaction history, budget details, or personal finance records.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, the app may schedule local reminders for payment or credit card dates. Notification permission can be changed in iOS Settings.
Analytics, ads, and tracking
The current app build does not include advertising, third-party tracking, or an analytics account controlled by the developer.
Data export, backup, and deletion
The app includes local export, import, backup, and reset tools. You control files you export or share outside the app. You can delete local app data from the app settings or by removing the app from your device. If you use iCloud sync, iCloud data is managed through the app's iCloud reset tools and your Apple ID/iCloud settings.
